I have searched high and low for an answer on this forum and hate to have to ask such a moronic question. I am at a loss because everything I have tried has not helped. I am having problems "add files to library' in itunes. I had no problems the first week or so of having my ipod video 30 gb. But it seems the last 3 or 4 days nothing will import. I have tried uninstalling itunes then reinstalling, I have updated to version 1.1.1, I am using jodix, imtoo, and pqdvd and I know these video files are the proper type.(mp4) For whatever reason after I click the "add files to library" tab it doesnt add it. My gb's used at the bottom of the screen has not gone down either. I have even tried to right click on the file and 'send to" my ipod folder which is G. It will show the file bieng transfered and counting down but it won't show up on my iPod.........What the hell shoud I do ar start doing? I am stumped!! Thanks for any help. Cat5
Now worries. Nothing is noobish around here. Try to simply shorten the name of the file like vid1 or something. Then you can change it back when it is in iTunes. For some reason, iTunes is really touchy about importing files that are not bought from iTunes. This should fix it, if not, feel free to post away. ;-)
I will try that. I posted this question the other day and I think it was you who responded back sooo quickly the last time as well. So Thanks!!! I have not tried that but I will. I'll let you know how it went......
