Hello and thx for reading my post.I'm kind of a newbie...My problem is that after trying to burn an image on a Imation dvd-R (haven't tried with other dvd) the disk will remain empty...But the weird part is that the lower surface of the disk has changed appearance. I'm trying to burn the dvd from my laptop acer aspire 1650. and have tried both nero burning rom and alcohol 120% and have chequed that it has to burn and not simulate the burning process. Any help would be more than welcome.Take care everybody

You did not say what program you used to copy the DVD. We really need
more information. A burn log would also be helpful.
With that said you might check out this link:

Except for AnyDVD, I use mostly free programs listed there. There
are some excellent guides on how to use them.
My favorite burning program is Imgburn (free). I usually write an
ISO to my hard drive using AnyDVD, and Shrink and then burn with
Imgburn. Occasionally I will use all free programs-DVDFabDecrypter,
FixVTS, Shrink, and Imgburn. I have nero, but rarely use it.

    Thx for answering so fast
Actually it is an iso I downloaded from the internet and I don't think the log would help you in any way because when the log automaticly scrolls down for example in alcohol 120% there are no errors and at the end it says that all recording processes have terminated succesfully or something like that.
