I heard you can burn up to 100 MP3 songs to a CD-R. Well I am only able to burn up to 17 MP3 songs avg in sizes around 4mb each. Dont know why I can only get 17 songs at 4mb each, when the CD-R can hold up to 700mb. So what gives ?
what software you using and how are you using it to burn mp3 ? as if you dont burn as a data disk and click as a audio copilation it will automatically convert your files to wma etc which sounds about right for 17 tracks.
Ok,had a go at this now on med player 10 put all your mp3 tracks on the left as usuall ready for burning with green ticks by them, then choose your source drive top left you get 3 options for each drive available, 1 audio cd 2 data cd 3 high matt cd if you want to do mp3 choose data cd then click yes im sure, make sure source drive now says for example (D DRIVE DATA CD) then click burn, job done, hope this helps, regards shady
Hey topgun, forgot to ask do you convert your cds to mp3 via media player ? if so what quality setting do you do it at ? is it a case of th better quality you use the more disk space a track uses up ?
Aww thanks Shady, that sounds like it would work. I will give it a try, sometimes within the week, when I have more time. And no the songs already in MP3 format, so I didnt have to change them.
