OK i'm new to this forum so please go easy on me if this issued has already been addressed or i have not explained myself properly.

I have Windows XP and Nero 5. I have had this problem before and again, now after i reformatted my drive.
When i try to burn a music CD from file, the burn process completes successfully, but when i go to play the cd it does not work. I tried it in a car stero, home CD player and my pc. When i try playing it in my PC with nero i receive the followinig message.
    "Digital Audio Extraction error:
    Illegal mode for this track
Do you want to save teh log file?"

the funny thing about this is that it will go on to the next song and play it and if i click back to play the first song it will then play that one as well. I still can not play it in my car though. Which pretty much makes it pointless to even burn the music to a cd. Any suggestions as to what i can do to get around this. I did save a copy of the log file, it is pasted below:

Are you sure your making an Audio CD and not a Data CD. This is a common mistake for some people.

I used create audio cd option in nero.
i'm not at my pc right now, but i did ntice that when it was adding the songs that the ext. was .cda i think, or something similiar to that.

and just to let you know, it is songs downloaded from kazaa. this problem started proably about 6 months ago.
