I cant convert any avi files, i dont know when it started, i guess a month ago as i was dealing with things. And no matter what converter i use i get same error probs. xvidcore.dll not found.

Its happened on atleast 30 avi files ive downloaded with in that time, ive had to result to downloading bin n que files (kvcd).

My computer is running on windows xp.

If anyone knows how i can fix it, then i would be very greatful.

It's obviously that the right codec is very important, very, very, very.

But, since the commercial codecs are free too, for DECoding purposes only, why don't install oringinal DivX + XviD (which is completely free, instead)? Your PC will be able to process 99.99% of the AVI files you'll ever find.
