I picked up a new dvd burner yesterday, very excited to get it home and start to copy stuff. I tryed to copy a dvd I own and it gets to under one minute of time left when creating the ISO, using dvd shrink btw, and it says it can't complete because there is not enough disk space left. 1_4_vob file can't be copied. I have only a 15 gig drive but I have 10 gig free. Any suggestions? Thanks
Does your system have ntfs files or fat32?If your system is fat32,then you cant use iso files as they have a 4 gb limit on fat32. 15 gb hard drive?Wow that doesnt give you much wiggle room, that maybe your problem too. You may need to get more hard drive. just mho jim
Yeah its fat32, I have 10gigs free so I thought it was more than enough. I'll convert my HD and give it a shot. thanks man.
you could try ripping with shrink in the file mode but then you cant use dvd decrypter to burn, you need nero or the like. Trial version available for nero
i have nero, if i was to rip in file mode with dvd shrink would i then just take the fies and burn them as a straight dvd in nero? would there be a guide around for something like that?
here ya go:http://www.dvdshrink.info/nero-video.php this is for an outdated nero but the settings are the same _X_X_X_X_X_[small] you should never take life too seriously....you'll never get out alive!! procrastinate now...dont put it off till tomorrow if you can read this..you dont need glasses.[/small]
excellent, thanks man, i'll try converting to ntfs first then the ISO, if that doesn't go i'll try the other way.
