Okay, I have a baffling dilemma. I have an ATI all in wonder TV tuner card hooked up to my PC, and can record things just fine using that, life is good, sort of..

I have Windows Media Endoder 9 downloaded on my PC. One of the options is that I can capute/record using the PCTV Card as my hardware..

I go through all the settings options, I want to capture it at VHS quality, with CD sound quality.. pow, no problem.

I get to the part where it shows what I'm going to record on the left, and the output on the right. I start encoding, and everything is fine. I playback the recording, no sound. Keep in mind that when I use the PCTV tuner software, it is recording the sound just fine.

I have tried setting it up many different ways. I have the sound coming into the line in jack on my pc, and I try and set WMencoder to record from that, but no joy. I have NO IDEA what I am doing wrong. I even tried to record through the mic jack, and tried to set up the encoder to accept that, but again, no joy.

I know I'm just missing something, or have a setting someplace wrong on my computer, and I'm hoping somebody here can guide me. Thanks..

Have you gone into your Windows audio settings and selected the "Line In" as the Recording Input and Raised it"s Volume enough to hear it??

    Just a Thought....
