Can't find boot.ini

    I have been frantically searching my C drive for it, but it is nowhere to be found. I need to edit it so I can turn off DEP. Does anyone know where I can find it?

    Is your computer able to boot?

    If it is go to control panel/system/advanced/setup and recovery/system startup/edit startup options.

    thats where you edit the boot.ini file.
