Any ideas? Just bought a Artec burner with Nero 5.5 on a ME machine and when I try to put data on disk it tries to format using INCD software but after 45 seconds the error code 0051-0003-0073-003 displays and can't go further. Also put another identical drive on a 98 machine and still same occurs. Using Memorex 700mb CDRW media. Would like to just drop files onto disk like a hard drive. The install was CDROM and CDRW drive on same IDE cable (CDROM-master) (CDRW-slave) and audio lead from CDROM to CD space on board. I didn't use the other audio lead. All looks OK in system panel. Hi rjones your problems are not helped by having the CDROM and CDRW drive on same IDE cable! also update the F/W on the CDRW best of luck
