I have the same router as you... make sure you use a ethernet cable to connect to your xbox through the router or a crossover cable to connect directly (PC to Xbox) and when your softmod is installed, change your network settings from Static to DCHP... hope this helps

Here's somewhat of a tutorial I kept for reference when I was trying to figure this out:

    UnleashX Dashboard

    Network Enable=Yes Type=Static
    ip: 192.168.0.3
    subnet: 255.255.255.0
    gateway>0.0.0.0
    dns1: 0.0.0.0
    dns2: 0.0.0.0
    AutoDetect: Yes

Also make sure the FTP section in UnleashX is all enabled:
    FTP Enable=Yes
    User: xbox
    Pass: xbox
    Port: 21
    MaxUsers: 2
    AllowAnon: No

If you boot unleashx with these settings you can verify your Xbox has the correct IP either by looking on a skin that displays it or in settings it will display it in blue text up top. You can also look in the other dashes if you have an IP, if not right on the front screen (via whatever skin you have) then under a settings sub menu.
If you see No Link or No IP! Then either one of these settings is wrong, you don’t have it connected to your computer with the correct settings yet, or your crossover cable is bad.

Now on your computer go to the properties of the NIC that has a crossover cable connected to the Xbox. Click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then properties. Enter the following:

    IP Address: 192.168.0.2
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 0.0.0.0
    DNS: 0.0.0.0

    FLASHFXP Settings:
Click on "Site Manager" then click to create a new site.
Name it Xbox. For the IP enter 192.168.0.3 & verify the port is 21.
The username and password are both: xbox
If you are using one of the other dashes you can leave PASV checked. Apply the settings and connect.

    Great instructions jchron
    but im having one problem,
in Unleash X under settings and network it stil says

    Current IP- No Link

using Flashfxp i it will connect, but i cant click in the window where the xbox files should be,(they dont appear) i cant still click anywhere else, but over that box my mouse turns to the hourglass.
also, my computer doesnt recognize that the network cable is plugged in, under my computers "Network connections" it still says "network cable unplugged"

    any help would be appreciated

Are you using a crossover cable to connect your PC and your Xbox?

As far as I know, you can't use a wireless router... If you're trying to FTP your xbox you need a router and a crossover cable.
