I have 3 dvd players and have never had a problem watching a burned movie before. I was using dvd shrink, but now I am using 1 click dvd copy and dvd43. The movies play fine in 2 of my cheaper dvd players but not in my JVC rx-dv3 home theater system. I have pretty much been using what ever dvd r- 's that are the cheapest and never had any problems before. ( currently using JVC dvd -r, and have used them in the past.) Should I be using different dvd's to burn the movies on? I have watched hundreds of burned movies on the home theater system, and it just puzzles me that now that i am using 1 click i can't get them to play on it. Any suggestions?

Yes I would definitely use better media - Taiyo Yuden (my personal fav and compatible with almost if not all dvd players)and Verbatim DataLifePlus. I think once you switch to these your problems will go away. Two other recommendations: make sure your firmware is up to date on your burner and you are not burning at max speed.
    Hope this helps.
Oh and using cheap media - word of caution - they will more than likely degrade over time - some sooner than later - which will cause playback problems.

ty for your response. Actually I cleaned my dvd player, then it started working. It has a delay of reading the disc for a couple of minutes, but then after a little time it starts to play. i have used these same disc in the past, and have only gotten a couple of bad burns. I live in germany, so we don't really have a good selection of dvd's to choose from to buy, unless we order them online. And I am impatient for them to get here. lol ty for your help.

Hey not a problem - glad you got things worked out!
I'm impatient too - that's why I buy large quantities of TY's online. Trust me once you try TY's (make sure they are geniune - buy from a reputable place)you'll never go back!
