hi guys i have x850xt ati radeon and i guess 20-22 inch monitor KDS USA but i cant make resolution higher than 1280x1024,coz when i go to desktop-> properties-> settings there two monitors 1 and 2 plug and play and default and plug and play has max resolution 1280x1024 and i cant make 2nd default what do i gotta do to get 1600x1200 or higher, coz i know my monitor can do it it sound kinda confusing - but i hope anybody can help me. any help will be apreciated - thanks
That might be a driver limitation when operating two monitors. You can determine that by just using the one that goes to 1600.
thanx for reply but i cant choose it coz everytime i choose a higher resolution from there it goes back to 1st monitor- like default and i cant make other one default it is cahnged to 1st again but i think that's ok i can live with that thanks fo help though
try switching the actual physical connection to the card from one hookup to another. that can make a difference with some cards...i'm not sure with yours.
