Can't get Lightscribe to work with new Pioneer DVR-113NP drive

Hi,

I have a new Pioneer DVR-113NP DVD+R/RW drive with 1.01 firmware, Nero 8 Ultra Edition, and Lightscribe 1.14.25.1 system software installed.

Lightscribe "sees" the drive as a valid Lightscribe drive, but the drive itself will not recognize the Lightscribe media for label printing. I was able to burn the DVD as usual, but am unable to burn the label.

I ran the Lightscribe diagnotic tool and it said that the software installation was correct (no problems). Here is what said when I insert the media and click on "scan for media":





I also verified in the Control Panel Admin Services that Lighscribe is started and is configured to run automatically.

Nero sees my drive as a Lightscribe drive, but always says no Lightscribe media is present when I try to burn a label.

Is my drive defective, or is there some additional Lightscribe software needed?

I am having the EXACT same problem. Did you get it figured out? Hopefully someone here can help us.
