I believe this to be a directory issue.

You see, when you add an image or sound clip Power Point is using the file on your current pc. So if you E-mail it to someone else who don't have those same pix or music in the same dir as you then it won't play or display. However, if you're saving it to a CD then you can create a sub-directory and put the sound and pix in it so you can map them to your presentation.

in other words save the powerpoint and the music files in the same folder. Then you have save the folder to a cd or send the folder (email)

You also need to look at the link itself in the powerpoint, and make sure it's not going to a specific location rather than in your folder.

For example, let's say you're trying to play a file named "audio.wav", and you have the powerpoint and audio file in My Documents > Presentation. You'd need to check the link (right-click the sound icon, "Edit Sound Object"), and look at the path. The path should be something like audio.wav rather than C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\Presentation\audio.wav
