can't get nero to see dvdrom drive

    i'm working on a toshiba satellite 3.2p4 XP home sp2. it came with some crappy recordnow burning software, but i can't burn dvd's with it. i upgraded to nero 6.3 and nero will not see the drive. the only thing it will let me do is record to the image drive. Any ideas?

    n/m. got it to work by uninstalling all the other burning softwares and reinstalling nero.
