I reloaded my whole system including all drivers etc. My speakers and sound card work well because I can play music, wav, and mp3 files just fine. I drop a dvd in and it plays in Nero and WMP, but no sound. I am baffled!! I went through every option I can think of. I don't know much about codecs or plug ins with these programs. Do I need something like WinDvd or another one to integrate with WMP? It worked fine before the reload. I have a hitachi dvd player and a 16x dual layer Samsung dvdrw, win xp, serv. pack2. Any help????
