I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but my computer has an ECS K7S5A mainboard and I'm trying to install Windows XP on one HDD and Ubuntu on another. When I change the BIOS to boot from CD and either CD is in the drive it says,
"Searching for boot record on CD-ROM... Not Found
Searching for boot record on Floppy... Not Found
Searching for boot record on IDE-0... OK
    GRUB Loading stage1.5

    GRUB loading, please wait...
    Error 22"

    How do I fix this?

OK I fixed that problem, but I still can't boot from CD.

check your xp installation cd , it might be dirty or scratched. If possible and you have another cd-rom drive, try installing it and try again(some cd-roms have more power to read troubled cd's.)

OK, trying a new cd-rom drive worked. Thanks. I still can't get Ubuntu to work, but I should probably ask about that in the Linux forum.
