Hey everyone Hope you can help a newbie I just got an LG dvd writer Seems like everything works fine, plays dvd movies, can copy one But what i really wanted a dvd writer is to backup all my files most are mpeg, avi home movies that are too large for cd so i used nero, burned to my dvd-r memorex dvd, (about 4.0 gigs of files) seems like it all went successfully, but then when i insert the dvd into my dvd writer, i double click my e:, it says function unavailble Seems like i lost all my movies The dvd seems burned fine, but cant fine the files or get to them what should i do to back up stuff on my dvd writer so i can view them from my dvd driver, not my dvd player or whatever thanks for any help
Hi Alex, This should have worked. How did you choose to write it with Nero? As a data disc? Let us know exactly what you did. Did you delete the files before checking they wrote properly onto the disc? hhmm...bad. Adder.
