    OK.. First of all i don't really know how to overclock to much.
    I have GA-EG41MFT-US2H. The board supports ddr3 1066 or 1333(OC) but I'm running ddr3 at 1666. I'm guessing the board under clocks it automatically? I had 1333 ram before, but i swapped it because i was drunk :S Anyway i can't manage to overclock more then 8mhz, if i try to go higher then 2.74ghz it won't boot. Processor is q8400.

    FSB 1333
    Bus speed 333
    Mulitplier x8 or x6

    x.xxA = FSB 266 MHZ
    x.xxB = FSB 333 MHZ
    x.xxC = FSB 200 MHZ I don't know what that is..

    Lower the ram speed to 1066 and you might have more luck.

    OCing is always a hit and miss someone with an identical setup might get 1GHz boost. while you only get 8MHz.
