Hi there, The title of this thread is a little misleading. I can play videos (e.g. avi, wmv, asf, etc), but the video picture does not show up. I could only get audio. This problem just happened out of the blue. I restarted my computer several times while trying to play the videos on mplayer and vlc, but still no luck. I've even re-installed the codecs, but the video images are still not being displayed. I did several sweeps with multiple anti-virus programs, so i'm pretty sure it wasn't a virus. Any tips? I noticed that if I open the file in vlc or mplayer a second time while the first one is still running without the video image, the second one plays normally. I'm not sure what this means. Maybe someone here does.
