hi and I hope someone can help me with this! I burned a few cd's using my nero startsmart and chose the create audio cd, ripped then played it just fine on my computer but when I put it in my 2004 touareg I just got it says "cd error" so I burned a disk using windows media and it played great in my car but since I can't burn with windows in mp3 mode I can't fit that many songs at all on the cd! is there a way for me to burn some other medium on my nero so it works in my car and if not, how do I butn more songs on a cd using windows media please? thanks for any help!

The first bit of help I can offer is change the title of your thread to something that describes your problem. The next bit is burn at about 16X. If your Tourag can play MP3 burn the disks in Nero as 'Data' disks.

You need to clarify things a little bit.

    1) Does your car player play MP3's?
    2) Are you trying to create an MP3 disc or just an Audio disc?

These are the differences between an Audio disc & an MP3 disc.

When you opt to create an Audio disc(should play on any CD player), you can only get 80 minutes of music on an 80 minute CD.

When you opt to create an MP3 disc(Data disc) you put 700MB's of MP3 files on a 70MB CD.
