i can't seem to get "the secret adventures of tom thumb" to rip onto my computer. mac the ripper gives me several error messages and osex just froze, and dvdbackup gave one error message and then continued but the results were messed up. they all experience problems after 279 mb. the dvd works fine on my computer and dvd player (malata) so i don't know what the problem is. any suggestions? thanks, larry
dboon , It sounds like you are using a Mac and that is the only ripper I know of for a Mac. Most everyone here is Windows based. Not sure if the rippers for Windows will work w/ the Mac.
Hi dboon, Like Car Mike stated, most on here use windows. But just a suggestion, when ripping a movie that gets part way into the rip before the error shows up like you did, its usually something like a dirty original, or scratches on it. The only other thing I have heard of was the original having corrupt data on it that a normal player will skip over and still play ok, but when trying to rip it, the corrupt data shows up causing the error. can't be of more help on a MAC system.
