I have a CD from a local band and its protected. cant copy, cant make a backup copy nor rip it! I have tried cloneCD (never got any options to select the audio profile once i insert the cd) and got an error saying: value must be between 1 and 2147483647, isobuster (hangsup), nero (extracts without a problem but without sound!), EAC (got continuous 'manhandled exceptions' error) and many many many more latest softwares available! i haven't tried the inline thing as i dont have any audio player with me now. the audio CD plays in cdplayer (tried it at my fren's place) but not in my DVD player nor PC. any suggestions?
What are you using to get passed the protection on the cd? Do you have AnyDVD from Slysoft. It will take care of that for you, then you should have no problem ripping it. It runs in the background and removes the copy protection. I rip with Windows Media Player and AnyDVD with no problems and have done so for years.
