I see just a black screen when I try and play videos,on any of the players including windows media player and quick time and others on the internet. I get the audio. I dont know if it is because I installed power dvd. Because before i install that I can see but than I wont be able to decod or watch DVDs. Now it wont even let me restore my computer any more probably cause I did it 15 times in a month. I have my restore setting all the way up so I dont know why. I have windows xp does any one know what I can try i would really appreciate the help. THANKS DAN
You should backup your data now. I expericed many problems that rooted back to restoring to many times. What ever damage that has been done is permanent. You WILL have to completely reinstall your os. I'm sorry to break this news to you. It isn't possible that power dvd caused this. When I did restore's, it deleted nesasary files for windows. In my case the netframe was scwered to the max. So wipe and reinstall your computer while you still have acsess to the desktop.
