i have seen similar questions in here but have not found an answer, anyway here it is i had a cd writer with nero 5 and i have upgraded to a sony dru 510ak dvd writer. i downloaded nero 5.5.10.15 or something like that. anyway when i go to choose the recorder the only option in there is the image recorder (virtual device) there is no mention of the dvd burner at all. but the dvd burner works when you put a dvd into it to use dvd shrink so i dont know what i am doing and i have been trying to work it out for 3 days. any help would be appreciated.
It could be that the specific version of Nero doesnt yet recognize your burner? You can grab the latest version of Nero5 from ftp://ftp4.nero.com/Nero551054.exe or Nero6 from http://www.cd-rw.org/software/cdr_software/cdr_applications/nero.cfm
