Your problem is that you can't just transfer the game with boxplorer since it doesn't patch the game. You should use Dvd2Xbox to transfer the game, and it's even easier than boxplorer! Good luck with your networking, I can't help you since I'm no expert at this!

No, Cat5e isn't crossover, it has 8 wires where crossover only has 4. If you need to d/l any xbox s/ware, you have to get it ftp, use flashfxp, it's quite good, then just find the room. It's a tad complicated, but you will find absolutely everything needed for modding xboxes.

I have all the s/ware, but my crappy xbox dvd drive, yeah first release v1.0, bloody Thompson drive :( has died. You might be able to get the s/ware html, but ftp is definately the go, hope i helped.

Another way to fix your problem is to update your BIOS to the latest version. I am using the Xecutre BIOS about one or two versions back from the latest and I didn't have to patch that game when I ran it. I just FTP'd the files from the CD to my computer (so I can back it up) and then back to my hard drive so I can play it off the hard drive.

If it resets back to the evox dash then it is a media flag issue. Any game signed by MS after Feb 2003 needs to be patched to remove media protection. You need to either download ADR Patcher http://www.xbox-saves.com/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=download&id=526 with the updated data pack http://www.xbox-saves.com/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=download&id=684, or Craxtion is another good tool to remove media protection. Or you can simply update your bios to the Evox M7 bios or the X2_4977 Bios and forget about patching because the bios will bypass it.

If you use the ADR Patcher there make sure you download the updated data pack too. You simply create a folder on your pc (lets call it ADR) and extract the files from the ADR patcher into the folder that you just created (ADR) and then extract the folders from the updated data pack and put them in the same folder, it will prompt you to replace the file that is in there, just say yes. Now
you have a updated patch program that will remove media protection from all your games. You could also use Craxtion and it will do the same thing and is pretty self explanatory but ADR PAtcher is much easier. It is available at www.craxtion.com

If you are looking for dvd2xbox then go here
