Cant use files

    Hi

    I have just set up a network connection so i can share files and the internet. I can use the internet but when i share fiels (eg. Registry Mechanic) i go to use it so i click on the icon and nothing happens same with any other program does anyone know what happens?

    did you enable file sharing & what windows are you using??

    i have got xp on both and i think i have it enabled can you tell what to do to enable it so i can make sure?

    if was in win98 you would do it in control panel/network so see if similar in xp

    in my network places it has two shared docs for comp 1 and comp 2?

    enable the sharing of the drives on both computers by doing right click on each drive than click sharing
