Hi guys. Not sure where I could put this post, so I guess here. Sorry if I'm wrong. Anyway, My pc crashed the other night and windows simply wouldn't load at all. It had been dodgy for a while but this was the last straw so I decided to completly re-install xp pro. Anyway, since doing so I have been unable to view many jpeg pics. It seems to be off web pages, I just cant view some of them. So my freind downloaded them on his pc, and emailed them, still unrecognised. Microsoft photo editor (seems to be the default viewer, just says unexpected format. Now I was thinking that jpegs were way to popular for this not too work. Any ideas?
That's definitely a problem with your new install. Windows should recognize jpg's. Maybe try re-installing windows again
