you are getting Power Calibration errors and that means that your disk:
Disc Manufacturer: MBI 01 - RG40 is Moser Baer crappy media! Get some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and try again!

    hi :)
with the amount of ram (physical memory) you have, you're in virtual memory territory
which means your hard disc will be 'swapping', therefore interfering with the burn.
you really need at least 256Mb of free memory.
in your case you have hardly enough to run your system, let alone do anything else.

this is the Power calibration error
A "CRC" error is most often caused by bad media - it could be any of the following:

    1. A dirty disc,
    2. A scratched disc
    3. A poor quality disc (cheap media if it happens during the "Burn" section of your work)
    4. A bad disc from the Mfgr.
    5. It can also be due to structural copy protection on a disk.
    6. It can also be from a bad optical component in your drive.

no 3 has been dealt with by IHoe. i've never heard of them, but i would take IHoe's word as said

it does'nt need a lot off resources to burn a cd....to burn a dvd is another story.
