Capture DVD video clip

    I need to capture two minutes worth of audio&video from a DVD. Will Nero capture this from my DVD drive or do I have to use some type of capture card? I've been able to get Nero to play the DVD, but not capture or record any section of the movie. Any help is extremely appreciated.
