I have been capturing video using premiere for sometime now. But recently I have been unable to for some unknown reason. I receive a message at the top of the capture window reading "Can't activate recorder, try resetting camera. I'm pulling my hair out. Somebody please HELP!!
Instead of Pulling your Hair Out you could allways just use a seperate DV Capture program and then Import the captured Files into premier for editing....There are a Couple Freeware DV Capture programs that you can use untill you Figure out what is wrong with premier Like "WinDV" or "DVIO" both of Which can be easilly found if you do a Google search or you might even find them in the software section of This Web site....
