Looking for a car lighter plug, just the plug mountable or not bear wires, I got one from radio shack when they had a shop here but I'll be damned if I can find it anywhere online, all I can find are the damn 2-5 DC socket adapters...

receptacle/outlet I finally found a y splitter on ebay, for 6$ I have 2 outlets I can use, but I swear radio shack use to carry this shit 0-o, I generally go there for the popular item name then look for a non brand knock off.

back in the day radio shack used to stock nothing but actual componets and parts. capacitors, resistors, transformers, wires, light bulbs, fuses, all types of electrical and electronic stuff. now they have a TINY section of parts in the way back, the rest of the store with home theatre stuff and cell phones. how lame.

Yup they've gone casual electronics and become worthless because the electronic section of any department store or drug store almost has stuff at a better price...

yeah its pretty sad. here in LA most of the small independent electronic components stores have closed too. I used to work at one ten years ago when I was in high school.

Now I pretty much get all my parts online. Mouser is good. All Electronics is another good place that has odd ball stuff and bulk items.

Apologies. It's been so long I forgot what we have been talking about and didn't re-read the thread. I happened to be on the RS website today.

    Have a nice day!
