what is the main advantage of vbr vs cbr apart from the overall album size? i think i've read somewhere that vbr has better quality but i don't know. to be honest, i haven't done many exeprimental rippins but i would like to hear your thoughts.
cbr 192 kbps vs vbr 192kbps. of course vbr will have the better quality overall. vbr will be te better choice unless cbr is maxed out at 320kbps, speaking for mp3. while other codecs, might use quality management, like vorbis. the bitrate will be fariable, but quality is constant. do search, its been discussed
