ccApp & ShellHiddenWindow

    I'm really not sure if this is being caused by a virus, trojan, etc....It occurs when my pc is attempting to shut down. After selecting "start", "shutdown" I get the task manager "attempting to end program" windows that pop up saying that my pc is attemping to shut down ccApp & HiddenShellWindows programs. It seems to take an eternity for my pc to shut down as well. Should I be concerned? Thank you so much for your help......LeeRoy

    It is part of Norton AntiVirus. Personally I can't stand their sorftware.

    I am wondering what in norton is causing the shellhiddenwindow and why it is just starting to act up now. Is it possible that it is something else doing it or can we assume that it is norton anti virus. I am using the 2006 version on a dell p4 108ghz with 1gig of ram

    Hi 'yall,
    I get the same thing happening with the shellhidden window when I try to turn my computer off. It just hangs there until exit it. I have not got Norton on my computer.

    Any ideas???
