OK, I spent $60 on CCE Basic, and when I get update emails, I go to the link and they tell me I have X number of downloads left (now I'm down to 3 I think). Does this mean that after I get 3 more updates that I'll have to spend another $60?
I'm guessing you bought yours from Visible Light, (as did I). Don't download the updates from there. Update it from Cinema Craft Inc. http://www.cinemacraft.com/eng/download.html#basic * Username and Password are required for download. Username : Your serial number for CCE-Basic. Password : The last 8 characters of your license key. (Upgrade users from CCE-Lite should use the password we sent you.)
I guess I've never gone anywhere but the Custom Technology site to download. I find it very strange that Visible Light does that. If you do ever have problems with getting an update I'd contact CCE's support. The one time I had to contact them they took care of me right away.
