Hello, my LG 8160B CD-RW is not working properly because when i after reinstalled windows xp, i also installed the CD recording software which came with the drive. Not long after, I uninstalled the program and now the computer can't use the drive. It doesn't show up in the My Computer page. When i open device manager, it says : Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) I have already tried to reinstall the cd recording software but it can't be detected since the cd drive doesn't work. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the hardware and the windows troubleshooter but nothing works. I think that the directcd.exe might be needed but i can't find a source to download it.
