CD/DVD Rom

    I have a problem with my DVD burner it dose not show up in my computer and it has a Code 10 error is there a way to fix this
    it tells me the drivers are all the and are updated please help

    Does the burner show up in Device Manager? If so, uninstall it from there, then reboot your computer, and see if it shows in My Computer.

    If that doesn't work, then in Device Manager, uninstall your secondary IDE ATA/ATAPI controller, and reboot.

    If it still doesn't show, open your computer, and check the connections to both the burner and the motherboard.
