cd music q?

    ok, i a music cd(original) has a minor scracth that makes 1 track skip will this problem occour if i dupilcate it or will it be fine on a burnt copy?
    can there be a reading error?

    Rip it to a wav file, then listen to the wav to see if it's correct, then burn it if it's OK.

    There are various methods for cleaning/polishing the CD.

    1) Wash it with dish washing (handwash) liquid, or similar stuff that is effective on grease & dirt.
    2) Polish it with toothpaste - do not use a brand with "granules".
    3) Use real CD polisher chemicals / equiptment you can get from stores.

    Usually washing the disc & using a good secure ripping program like E.A.C. will do the job perfectly.
