My Cd player is a pain, it pleases itself when it wants to read CD'S and when it wants to burn, anyone any ideas on how to fix the thing? I run windows XP, burn using nero and the CD type is an A open CD-RW CRW4850. i hope someone has an idea? Thanking you in advance for your help Eric
Have you tried different media? Sometimes thats the problem. Have you updated the firmware for the cd burner? Tried a slower speed for burning? Could the laser be dirty, have you tried cleaning it?
