How do I load music from a cd-r to the x-box? I have a v1.1 with a matrix chip, a WD 7200rpm hdd & x2 4976.02 multiver 256k bios. I used slayer auto install to get it going. Do I need to use cd-rw's or is there a way to get it to read a cd-r?

Hey, originally I was trying to move mp3 files from my computer to the xbox so that games could use the files. Although it is possible to burn onto CDRW and rip it, it's much easier to work directly with your xbox's files. In order to do this, you have to convert the MP3 files to .wma format, then use a program called XBox soundtrack editor which allows you to work with the files on your xbox, assuming you have a link to your computer up. Hope this helps
