Trying to burn photos to cd-r for back up purposes. No problem burning data. No problem burning photos to cd-rw, but every time I try to put them on to cd-r I get a write error about 3/4 of the way thru altho never at the same file. Have defragged. Slowed down the burn speed. Turned off AV and screen saver. Have DMA if available selected. Using Nero 6.3 with Windows XP pro and LITE-ON LTR-52246S. Have managed to produce a half dozen coasters. Have also tried to use different brand cds. I'm mystified and very frustrated. need more of the logfile, that section is incomplete (burns are appended to the log so it's easy to see which sections are which). pls post LAST section of your Nero logfile, which is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar..
