Hello in order to store my music cds on my harddisk i rip them in Nero 6.0 onto a seperate harddisk(slave drive 250 gig Maxtor) , but i'll get glitches and clicks sometimes this is very annoying
i tried a lower reading speed, jitter correction but nothing seems to work

is there anyone who can help me out?

    Thanx in advance

Those clicks are from small scratches on the CD, that basic rippers skip over and don't correct. Use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your CDs. It is free and hands down, 100%, the best ripper there is. It has been the standard in professional and accurate ripping for years. Nothing comes close to its extensive error correction and ripping control to ensure a 100% accurate rip. When used with the external LAME mp3 encoder at 192 VBR (variable bitrate) settings, you will get about the best quality you can from mp3s.

We have a step-by-step guide on how to setup and use EAC here:

It can also rip to WAV as well as various other formats such as MP3.
