this post is unique to all the other posts because i cant get my cd drive bak to save my life, the function is totaly gone, haha, iv used device manager is doesnt show up their, and it doesnt show up anywere, its a pretty nasty virus, iv used tonss of virus scanners and all dont find anything, my cd drive is good because i bought a month agao and hasnt had trouble sence i got this virus, iv tryed about 4 other cd drives but none work, system infact the virus shut me off of the admin rights so i cant do system restore, and i cant reload windows from the cds or anything, any help?
does the bios see the drive? try reconnecting the ide cable to the drive & motherboard. is the drive the only 1 on the data cable?
