I have Nero Express that came with my CD-Burner.
When I add to the CD it erases what was on the CD before.
Can anyone help me resolve this problem?

did you format the disk & use copy & paste thru windows explorer or are you using the disk as a regular cd?

cdr disks can be added to thru the burning process till disk is full or finalized(closed). cdrw disk once formated can be used as a sort of floppy disk thru windows explorer but must be in the burner not regular cd or dvd rom drive. nero gives you the option to format the cdrw disk.

Just format the entire CD-RW again, then when you add something to it, just make it a 'multi-session' disc. That way, you can continue to rewrite stuff onto it without the need of erasing it until the disc is filled to full capacity, then just full-erase the disc. Don't quick-erase though, that just covers up the data that was already on the disc, but it doesn't really delete it. Good luck!
