CD-RW media faster than 10x ?

    Are there any CD-RW media faster than 10x speed?



    I would really like 24x RW speed.

    Are higher speed CD-RW's abled to be used on slower drives?

    No. The drive needs to support CD-RW HS or CD-RW US.

    thanks cd-rw.org. Now a question, I have the Sony DRU-500UL DVD+-/R/RW drive but for some reason, it doesn't seem to recognize the 2x CD-RW discs I have. I know the CD-RW shows 4x and 10x on the drive specs but what would cause it to complain about the disc not being useable when it works in all other drives?
