I have Samsung Combo (CD writer /reader / DVD reader) , its working perfectly fine but when i insert a brand new CD-RW to write some thing on it ...and click on the icon of CD drive its gives an message "D:\ inaccesbile , Incorrect Funcation" ..what does this means i have tried brand new three CD-RW none of them are working but the other CDs are working now what should I do...
this happened to me, what happens is that you do not have the inbuilt [bold]windows[/bold] cd recording enabled on your drive, this is not an issue, you can still burn with other softs like nero. once you have data on the cd, you will be able to read it. if you still want to use the inbuilt cd recording, go to the drive properties, click the recording tab and [bold]enable cd recording on this drive[/bold] hope this works for you, otherwise you may have a fault with the drive <?>
OK...firstly thankyou for your replies.... but the problem still remains i have NERO....now when the cd is not getting access only the RW brand new cds , the others are getting through....what to do....i have tried to format it using NERO but it does format but still not work... now is there any settings that i have to make in order to run the cd...
