need store bought dj mix to play continuous with track indexing in wav format. is this possible without a merging in a wave editor?
i have several dance cds that play continuously, and there is no gap between them, as long as you leave them in wav format. if you convert them to mp3 or other compressed format there is a slight pause at the end. but i have about a dozen cds ripped to wav only, and they play perfectly continuous in winamp.
Thanks for the reply. Are you making a playlist for the tracks? I just started using an ipod so all this converting is all new to me. Making a playlist was the only way i could get the tracks to play continuous with track indexing.
I have them in one of several playlists. To ensure they play in order, I just mark the filenames with 01, 02, 03... in the beginning. It should be the same for the ipod. Hope this helps
