cd very warm

    just curious to ask if it was normall for cd/dvd discs to be hot after a burn.when i mean hot i mean its very noticably hot in the hand when you take it out of the drive.any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

    Could mean you are burning at too higher speed if it is v hot - but disks are usually quite warm when taken out after a burn. Try burning at lower speed and comparing...

    A lot of time it depends on the burner. For instance, some dvd disk that are taking out of some dvd players seem a lot warmer than other.

    have tried burning at slower speeds and used different makes of discs,still ejecting at very warm temperatures,is there any sort of cooling device around the disc tray that may have brocken or something.
