    Hi !
I have 52x24x52 CD writer. I had burned lot of CD-R and it read them very well, also worked good with multisession CD's. But now it sometimes totally refuses to read them and after opening and closing CD tray for 6-7 times it again reads them. For all other original CDs it works fine with first attempt.
Please help me as it annoys a lot.
    Thanks in advance.

Some folks will say try a laser cleaner. It could also be the media - I've had lots of CDs go bad, especially Sony media. You weren't clear if "original" means pre-recorded (pressed) CDs or older burned CDs or what, but multi-session discs tend to be cranky anyway compared to disc-at-once recordings. So in your case all three - media, burner, and recording method - are equally suspect. Try different media and see if that works; otherwise, try a new drive. Whatever you do, I suggest backing up your troubled discs though.
