cdex problem

    i run cdex and it says: failed to load the wnaspi32.dll driver. use the "Native NT SCSI library"
    driver option instead? What do i do? Thanks

    I just clicked yes, and all works for me

    Yes, XP doesn't use the old ASPI layer anymore.
    It's one of the XP improvements (and, SmartRipper also works much better now, without the ASPI).
    If you guys aren't using a preset, make sure you're using Q=0
    It doesn't hardly take much longer, and will yield improved results.
    Note: If you update the LAME codec to 3.95.1 or 3.96, the equivalent setting is Q=2.
    Q=0 reaches a new level of precision with the new codec, yielding superior results (but, noticably slower).
